Research
indicates that students who are highly engaged in the arts do better in
school and are more involved in their communities. However, over the
past several years, tight budgets have led to the reduction or
elimination of arts programs in many school districts. Field trips to
community arts and cultural organizations have been especially hard hit
as school budget cuts mean fewer children can take advantage of arts and
cultural opportunities.
Through its Patron Foundation, The PatronPartner Company has made a
long-term commitment to advancing the arts and humanities as centrally
important to the education and lives of students.
Our grant-making activities are focused on assisting schools and civic
organizations in expanding access to cultural opportunities, and on
providing increased funding for museum education programs.
